Our doctors and stellar support team (we have a high LVT/VA to DVM ratio) provide a high level of compassionate and personalized medical and surgical care for the cats and dogs of our community. We are there for our patients and clients from the first puppy/kitten visit until their late senior years. We have long standing relationships with our clients and are heavily involved in the local community!
Poulsbo Animal Clinic provides preventative care, advanced medical work-ups (full in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasonography, etc.), urgent care appointments (some are pre scheduled blocks that we fill in the day of, some are drop-off appointments), and day hospitalization (overnight care is handled at our local ER clinic). If you love ER, but not the hours, we see a significant number of urgent care cases that we balance with our general practice. Additionally, we offer advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgical services. Some of our vets are trained in CBLO, TPLO, and advanced fracture repair techniques – mentorship is available if you are interested! Surgery not your thing? No problem! We will support your interests, whichever direction you decide to go.
Veterinarians work 4-day work weeks, but we are also open to a 3-day work schedule – we are flexible! We are closed on weekends/holidays and have no on-call duties. Our veterinarians are highly compensated and receive a generous benefits package which includes a 401K with 4% match, a newly adopted pension program, profit-sharing, flexible vacation time, medical insurance, a significant continuing education allowance, and more. A signing bonus is offered to qualified applicants.
