Dr. Heather Houser is a Kitsap County transplant. She has moved around a bit – both in the U.S. and internationally – and is excited to now call Washington home. Dr. Houser graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2017 and then worked in a mixed-animal practice for two years. While she loved the variety (and adventure!) of mixed animal practice, her passion for small animal primary care ultimately led her to Poulsbo Animal Clinic. Dr. Houser loves the continuity of care afforded by general practice and has special interests in behavior, internal medicine, anesthesia, and pain management. When she’s not at work, Dr. Houser can be found exploring the Olympic Peninsula with her terrier mix, Gus, or reading a good book in a patch of sunshine.
